I started my blog seventeen months ago as a prelude to my book, Reflections. I didn’t have a particular theme in mind and was told not to transfer my manuscript into my blog but rather use the blog to talk about what was going on in my life or what was important to me that specific day. And so – that’s what I did. I had no idea where it would lead. But as I began to share, just like in my book, hope and faith rose to the top. I don’t know how that happened because I was (and still am) walking through the fire in many ways. But if only one person’s heart is warmed, a smile crosses their face, or tears of healing fall from their eyes, it’s worth sharing.
I cannot take credit for what I am about to share. It was passed to me by another. I am the recipient, my heart is warmed, and I am encouraged. And so, today, if only one person is touched the way I was this morning, it is well worth the pounding of my keyboard and the click of my button.
“He will cover [me] with his feathers, and under his wings [I] will find refuge; his faithfulness will be [my] shield and rampart. [I] will not fear the terror of night, nor the arrow that flies by day, nor the pestilence that stalks in the darkness, nor the plague that destroys at midday.” Psalm 91:4-6 (NIV)
Thank you Debbie. This is just what I needed today.
Just what I needed too!
